My favorite quote of the day for today is from Mark, not one of the kids. He told The Boy to clean up the paper he'd left on the floor after cutting out his own money (the Dr. Pepper museum had an exhibit where you could make your own money for your personal "country" and he made lots of sheets. The Boy loves money.)
The Boy said, "They're not mine. They're Little Miss'."
To which Mark replied, "Well, I don't have a fingerprint kit so pick them up anyway."
Awesome.
As I was typing this, this exchange happened in our kitchen:
The Boy - I thought we were going to make something.
Mark - Make what?
TB - Some sort of food or something.
M - Oh, Karen already made it. It's in the oven. Why don't you go turn the light on and look at it?
TB - Okay! (he goes in the middle of the kitchen - about six feet from the oven - and is looking around)
I don't see a light.
M - That's because you're looking at the dishwasher.
TB - Oh. (He chuckled.)
The Mark showed him the oven.
